Nitrogen

Inadequate nitrogen is one of the most common reasons plants, lawns, trees and shrubs do not survive and thrive. That is why so much inorganic nitrogen fertilizer is applied in gardening. Interestingly, about 78% of the air we breathe is made up of nitrogen, yet plants and turf are unable to take up atmospheric nitrogen. The nitrogen-fixing bacteria in Microbe Life convert atmospheric nitrogen to a water-soluble form of nitrogen, making it available to the plant. Users of Microbe Life will be able to reduce their usage of chemical-based fertilizers and begin to restore soil biology to its natural state, reducing chemical inputs.

Humates

Did You Know?

Humates help build soil structure, increase soil porosity and increase water holding and ion exchange capacity. Humates bind and inactivate toxic compounds as well as stabilize and buffer the leaching and burning associated with synthetic fertilizers. Humates also magnify beneficial effects by increasing nutrient uptakes. Humates are instrumental in working in conjunction with microbes for the proliferation of root growth. The humates contained in Microbe Life are derived from deposits based on the breakdown of green leafy vegetation, not leonardite.
